Our Special Weekend Highlight: The Town Square Concert in Lofer

A traditional fixture of summer and the perfect start to the weekend is the town square concert by our local brass band, Bürgermusik Lofer.

• When: Every Friday evening from 8:15 PM during the summer months.

• Where: Directly on the historic market square in Lofer – just a few steps away from our Hotel Schweizerwirt.

• What to expect: The Bürgermusik Lofer invites you to top-class open-air musical performances. Enjoy the start of your weekend with a great atmosphere, featuring a blend of traditional and modern sounds right in the pedestrianized town center. In case of bad weather, the concert takes place in the gymnasium of the Lofer middle school (Mittelschule Lofer).

Every TUESDAY: Lofer Market Life (Loferer Marktleben)

• When: Every Tuesday starting from 5:00 PM.

• Where: On Marktstraße and the town square in Lofer.

• What to expect: Stroll, discover, and enjoy. The Loferer Marktleben invites you to spend lovely hours with live music, regional delicacies, and a relaxed gathering right on our doorstep.

Every THURSDAY: Cozy Village Evening in St. Martin (Gemütlicher Dorfabend)

• When: Every Thursday from 7:00 PM.

• Where: In the village center on the town square (Gemeindeplatz) in picturesque St. Martin bei Lofer.

• What to expect: An absolute must-attend for lovers of tradition and local culture. The village evenings offer a wonderful mix of lively live music and authentic regional Pinzgau specialties.

Tip for our guests: Access to the concerts is easy and comfortable via the Almbahn I and II cable cars. On concert Saturdays, special evening operating hours are in place for the ride down, allowing you to relax and enjoy the music right until the end.
